Regular day in Gomel community.

There is no own building. No mikvah. No kitchen. No kindergarten. No restaurant. No kosher shop.

You will ask, what is it there?

There are heroic women, who are going 200 km one way to mikvah. There is a rent room for 40 square meters. There is a rent apartment, where every day people cook food on a regular plate and take it in big bags. There are 4 groups of Sunday School. There is a STARS, which holds 60 people three times a week. There is a Madrich School, where 25 active people gain experience. There is a working with the “Taglit” program and more than 170 people who saw Israel for the last 3 seasons.

There is a women club. There is a club for Bnei Noach. There is a permanent youth minyan. There is a Chevra Kadisha. There are many friends, who are ready to support. There are a few partners who are ready to help with an advice and even financially. There are, thank God, a breath of Jews among the surrounding reality. Ironically, but there is even a Yeshiva in this room which is less than a 1 year old, but where around 30 boys study Torah every day.

And the most important there is a desire to make our own community! No matter what.

Thank you to those who helps us in achieving our dreams.
