January 5th - January 10th, the Jewish youth of the CIS countries and Israel gathered in about fifty kilometers away from Kiev on the basis of rest "Gintama".
The reason is a regular camp "Thelet" with the name "Fireplace century, conversations of smart people", which was organized by the "Midrasha Tsionit."
 What is the camp "Thelet"?
Camp "Thelet" - one of the main educational projects of "Midrasha Tsionit." The camps are held both in winter and summer. Camps are held as a separate children's and student change and for children with their parents. Since 2005, the camp "Thelet" attracted about 2,000 participants. Activities in the camps are leaded by the Israeli experts and the guys who have passed selection and training courses on leadership "Midrasha" - "Hilazon." The scope is impressive: the participants of educational programs "Midrasha" come from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Germany.
The conceptual theme of the camp is the way of human development and its interaction with another person, community, society and the state. The goal of the camp is to introduce the participants with Jewish concepts, based on the triangle "The people of Israel, the Land of Israel and the Torah of Israel"; to help participants to make the transition from a passive to an active position of Jewish national, cultural and traditional position.
There were one hundred and fifteen people as a participants this time, among whom the youngest was only three years old.
Five days everyone attended a series of lectures by the leading lecturers of informal Jewish education as Shlomo Neiman, Eliezer Lesovoy, Alex Tabac, Michael Bogomolniy and Anna Geifman .
The camp was very "homie". Almost each lecture was held in a fun atmosphere near the fireplace with a cup of hot tea, while the thermometer showed minus twenty degrees.
Seventeen people from our community took park in this camp, three of whom - as madrichs.
Special thanks to the organization "Midrasha Tsionit" for kosher cuisine and an unforgettable week!
